Wine products made from palm juice


All products made from palm juice in Cambodia are including Ginger palm wine, Pineapple palm wine, Cocktail Mekong, Kiry palm liquor, natural palm juice, and palm vinegar. It is noticed that most of palm trees are grew in some provinces such as Kampong Speu, Kampong Cham and so on. Cambodian people who live in remote rural areas like to drink palm juice instead of wine because its price is cheap.

According to research, the fresh palm juice contains Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and is full of mineral such as Ca, Fe, Mg, P, K and Zn. Drinking palm juice everyday will promote human’s healthy living.

Thus, in order to preserve these trees and to participate in the development of the economy of Cambodia. The local private company has approached the modern technology to transform local palm juice into tasty and hygienic finished products complying with European and American organic rules (NOP) as well as other international food standards.
